- Filing and retrieval of patient health records
- Monitoring and Evaluation of patient care
- Daily diagnosis of patient’s’ illness as an outpatient or an inpatient
- Coding and indexing of diseases
- Custodian of patient folders, sick leave, maternity leave, death certificates, medical reports, and sundry medical reports generated by the hospital.
- Maintenance of admission and discharge register of all patients in the hospital
- Collection, compilation, collation, analyzing and production of medical statistics of the hospital.
