Department Profile

The Catering Department provides a quality well-balanced diet to hospital patients, served in a good and appealing manner to aid quick recovery.

The following activities are provided by the Catering Department:-

  • Providing food for staff on call duty
  • Providing food for doctors on call and the Theatre
  • Servicing meeting such as Hospital Management Committee (HMC)
  • Purchasing food items
  • Embarking on revenue drive in the wards
  • Reconciliation with the Account Department
  • Part of the clearance process in discharging patients
  • Daily checking and writing of diet list
  • Providing good quantitative and qualitative food for both staff and outpatients at the canteen
