Department Profile
The Catering Department provides a quality well-balanced diet to hospital patients, served in a good and appealing manner to aid quick recovery.
The following activities are provided by the Catering Department:-
- Providing food for staff on call duty
- Providing food for doctors on call and the Theatre
- Servicing meeting such as Hospital Management Committee (HMC)
- Purchasing food items
- Embarking on revenue drive in the wards
- Reconciliation with the Account Department
- Part of the clearance process in discharging patients
- Daily checking and writing of diet list
- Providing good quantitative and qualitative food for both staff and outpatients at the canteen
